                                  Superintendent / Construction Project Manager – Single Family Homes

Our client, a growing Real Estate Development Company, is currently seeking a Superintendent / Construction Project Manager – Single Family Homes in the greater Seattle, WA area.    

The successful candidate for the Superintendent / Construction Project Manager will have these general responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage the construction process from start to project completion.
• Prepare estimates for construction projects to include material costs, labor equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs.
• Manage Superintendent, subcontractors and employees.
• Review construction documents.
• Develop project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Coordinate the design efforts for internal and external consultants.
• Frequently visit project sites to ensure quality and process.
• Promote safe and efficient construction sites.
• Ensure the projects stay within budget and on schedule.

 Superintendent / Construction Project Manager – Single Family Homes

Summary of requirements for Superintendent / Construction Project Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline. Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience for single family housing. 
• Must have knowledge and experience of the residential construction process and equipment, materials and supplies.
• Prior experience reading and interpreting construction documents and plans.  
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace and team-oriented environment.
• Self-driven, highly motivated, excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite to include, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Salary:  $90 – $100K plus bonus potential
