Financial Center Manager, Hunts Point

In this position, you will manage Financial Center operations including Teller Services and provide support to Private Client Groups by servicing business clients. Primary responsibilities include:

• Manage Financial Center operations; supervise Bank Tellers including performance management, coaching, hiring, training, terminations, etc.
• Resolve and handle escalated transactions; make risk-based decisions and discus with Private Client Groups to minimize risks to the bank
• Provide exceptional client services, promptly respond to inquiries and requests regarding client accounts; partner with Private Client Groups and Group Directors to maintain an efficient business environment
• Train staff on bank policies, procedures, regulations, and transactions; assist Private Client Groups with changes and updates to policies and procedures, provide direction and expertise on transactions
• Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with Signature Bank policy; organize and maintain supplies for bankers/tellers, forms, and resolve facility related issues
• Compile and create reports on financial data and perform internal reviews of financial center activity (large balances, overdrafts, new clients, general ledgers, etc)
• Assist Private Client Groups with wires, new account applications and documentation; may assist in developing client relationships

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years Management experience handling financial center operations, compliance, and supervising staff required (i.e. Assistant Branch Manager)
• Minimum 4 years Banking experience required; experience servicing private clients, business accounts or commercial banking strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical skills, able to find solutions, resolve issues, manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Client-service oriented and enthusiastic team player; able to maintain positive relationships with clients, various Private Client Groups, Directors, etc.
• Demonstrated integrity, tact, and professionalism; must work well in a demanding dynamic environment
• Strong leadership skills and ability to direct, coach, motivate and supervise staff
• Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills required
• High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree a plus
