Specializing in the treatment of Substance Abuse, Sexual Health and co-occurring Mental Health issues and their manifestations within our LGBTQ+ clients, Pride Institute offers a 42- bed inpatient\/residential treatment program and a partial hospitalization program with lodging, both located in Eden Prairie, MN (a suburb of Minneapolis) and an intensive outpatient program in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. Our programs are designed to assist our LGBTQ+ clients, 18 years of age or older, in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for long-term recovery.
\nDo you have a passion for promoting awareness of addiction and chemical dependency and helping those who may be impacted? Are you skilled in establishing and maintaining effective ongoing professional relationships with referral sources who can confidently recommend your programs to their clients? Do you want to work with a collaborative team that supports each other and believes that work can bring satisfaction and sometimes even joy?  If so, we want to hear from you.
\nWe are seeking an experienced full-time Community Liaison\/Business Development Professional to increase awareness of our specialized treatment programs to those within the LGBTQ+ community who can benefit from our programs and to professional referral sources across the United States. Key objectives will be to inform, educate, and communicate our programs and services to ensure that people get the help they need.  Reporting to and working with our Director of Business Development, the individual selected for this position will:<\/p>\n

\u2022         Assist the Director in implementing the philosophy, policies, procedures, systems, and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team<\/p>\n

\u2022         Market Pride Institute to an assigned territory in the US and to our local and in-state LGBTQ+ communities, involving up to 50% travel<\/p>\n

\u2022         Identify potential referral sources and develop, manage, and grow relationships that result in referrals; provide effective contact management of both established and potential referral sources<\/p>\n

\u2022         Consult with internal staff to encourage participation in business development efforts (presentations, conferences, events, etc.) as appropriate<\/p>\n

\u2022         Track and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, continually looking for ways to improve the effectiveness of marketing and outreach activities<\/p>\n

\u2022         Summarize activities and submit timely reports on a regular basis<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Job Requirements<\/h3>\n
Qualified candidates will possess:<\/p>\n

\u2022         A Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, counseling, social work, psychology, nursing or business administration OR equivalent work experience<\/p>\n

\u2022         A minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience involving marketing and\/or market research, event planning, community relations, and public speaking; advocacy and\/or outreach experience related to the LGBTQ+ community is a huge plus<\/p>\n

\u2022         Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
