Thanks for having purchased LIVE GRID Wordpress, now it's time to get your fingers a little dirty and start configurate your theme. If you have any questions that are beyond the scope of this help file, please feel free to email via my user page contact form here. Thanks so much!

As for every Wordpress, simply upload the LIVE GRID folder in your Wordpress themes directory, no additionnal plug-in is needed.

Go in your Wordpress appeareance settings and active the LIVE GRID theme.

Open import.txt from "Import" folder. Select all (Ctrl+A) and copy (Ctrl+C)

Paste data (Cntr+V) into Site Options--> General--> Import. Click Import Data

Choose XML from "Import" folder

Specify Home Page and Blog. It's important!

Specify Menu

In the General section, you will edit the following settings:

• Website title: Need a catchy sentence for your website, there you go. (html allowed)
• Favicon : Small icon
• Skin type: light or dark  versiob
• Settings logo : Choose Image logo or Text logo
• Logo : You can write text, change size, color, font or upload your image.
• Key color: The main color of template
• Gallery keyboard navigation: On or Off
• Background music: On or Off
• Background music by default: On or Off
• Path to mp3 file: Insert a path of music
• Path to ogg file: Insert a path of music
• Analytics : Copy and paste here your Google analycs tracking code
• Export and import data

In the Theme Home settings section, you will edit the following settings:

Home page type:

• Fullscreen single image
• Fullscreen image slideshow
• Image grid
• Fullscreen video player

Go to Pages --> Profile

To add and publish a portfolio post, simply use the usual the Posts menu located in your Wordpress console.

You can either publish :

• an image-featured post with image
• an image-featured post with video youtube or vimeo

Edit the following fields to publish a new post:

• Post title
• Categories
• Full text
• Featured image : choose your featured image and save it as a featured image
• Client : if you want you can client name
• Video Link: if the field is empty - the post type will be Image

Impressive theme uses all standart widgets and some custom. Just drag and drop the needed widget to the Sidebar
