This Director of Training &amp; Medical Education will be a pivotal role on the medical affairs team to lead internal &amp; external training. This individual will be developing &amp; executing trainings and also have a support function for monitoring activities. My client has successfully commercially launched late last year and are looking to expand their commercial efforts- this role will be instrumental to this growth and offers excellent visibility with internal &amp; external stakeholders in the ophthalmic space.<\/p>\n<p>Competitive pay, bonus, and equity offered-this role is a direct hire full time position onsite with anticipated 50% travel. Local candidates preferred but relocation can be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>Job Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development and implementation of training programs, tools\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for tracking outcomes globally<\/li>\n<li>Manage and execute educational seminars and symposiums<\/li>\n<li>Develops training strategies to update commercial sites in appropriate patient selection, surgical application and technique and could provide support during surgery.
