Theme
In the admin panel go to Appearance > Themes > Install Themes > Upload.
Click the Browse button and upload the moviescope.zip file from your computer. Click the Install Now button and wait for the completion of the theme installation. Click the Activate link.
Sample Content Data (optional)
For content data import go to MS Options > Import and follow the instructions.
STEP 1. Click the Browse button and select the moviescope.xml file to upload sample data (posts, pages, media files, etc.), then click the Upload file and import button. If you want to skip this step, click the Skip button.
STEP 2. Select an author of imported posts. Check Download and Import file attachments if you need to upload media files (images, videos). Click the Import Data (Next) button to continue.
STEP 3. For the widget settings import click the Browse button and upload the widgets.json file from your computer. Than click the Next button. If you want to skip this step, click the Skip button.
STEP 4. Check necessary widgets and click the Next button.
Permalink Settings (required step)
Go to Settings > Permalinks > select Custom Structure and type the following parameter: /%category%/%postname%/
Click the Save Changes button.
Go to MS Options > MS Options
General
- Favicon – upload favicon.ico from your computer;
- Body Background – define a background color, background image, background image repeating, background image position, background image;
- Display breadcrumbs? – display/hide the breadcrumbs;
- Custom CSS – a field for a custom CSS styles.
- Theme logo – define the logo type (image or text);

Image Logo
- Logo Image URL – upload a logo from your computer or insert a logo URL;

Text Logo – type your website name;
- Text Logo Font – select a logo font family, font size, line height and color;

Display Social Networks – display/hide the social icons in the header;
- Google Plus URL, Facebook URL, Twitter URL, RSS URL, Dribbble URL, Flickr URL, LinkedIn URL, Vimeo URL, Youtube URL, Pinterest URL – enter your social profiles URL. Leave a field empty if you do not want to show the social icon.
Typography
Font settings page for:
- Base Text;
- Menu;
- Submenu;
- H1 – H6 headlines;
- Footer menu.
Home Page
- Display slider? – display/hide the main slider;

Display tabs block? – display or hide the tabs block (In Theaters, Coming Soon, New on DVD);
- First tab category – trailers category name for the first tab. Leave a field empty if you do not want to show this tab.
- Second tab category – trailers category name for the second tab. Leave a field empty if you do not want to show this tab.
- Third tab category – trailers category name for the third tab. Leave a field empty if you do not want to show this tab.
- Number of posts to show in tabs – a number of posts which will be displayed in each tab.

Display Box Office – display/hide the box office block;
- Box Office Title – a field for the Box Office title;
- Box Office URL – a link to a page with the full box office list;

Display movie reviews? – display/hide the latest movie reviews;
- Movie review title – a field for the Movie Review title;

Display movie news? – display/hide the latest movie news;
- Movie news title – a field for the Movie News title;
- Movie news number – a number of news in the block;
- Movie news URL – – a link to a page with the all news;
Gallery
- Number of columns – a number of columns in a photo/video gallery;
- Number of posts per page – a number of posts on a gallery page;
Layout
- Sidebar position – a sidebar position (left/right/without sidebar);
Sitemap
- Sitemap URL – an URL to the Sitemap page. It is needed for the 404 page. Leave it empty if you do not want to display this page.
- Contact info – a text which will be displayed above the contact form on the contact page;
- Contact E-mail – an email address on which you will receive messages from the contact form.
- Footer copyright text;
- Display footer menu? – display/hide the menu in the footer;

Display social networks? – display/hide the social icons in the footer.
- Google Plus URL, Facebook URL, Twitter URL, RSS URL, Dribbble URL, Flickr URL, LinkedIn URL, Vimeo URL, Youtube URL, Pinterest URL – enter your social profiles URL. Leave a field empty if you do not want to show the social icon.
- Google analytics – Google analytics code for monitoring website traffic.
After you make all the settings, click the Save Options button. If you want to return to default settings, then click the Restore Defaults button.
Go to the Post Ratings menu item in the admin panel.
- Access level - mark if you want to allow unregistered users to vote;
- Maximum rating – maximum post score (changing this option will remove the existing post scores);
- Bayesian rating (score) formula – select a formula with the help of which you want to count an average score;
- Allow rating on – mark the post types which you want to be rated;
- Location of the rate links – mark the rating position;
- Page visibility – mark on which pages you would like to show the post rating;
- Global stats – detailed information about the total amount of scores and rated posts, the average amount of scores per post, the average post score;
After you make the changes, click the Save Changes button. If you want to delete all votes, check the Delete rating records from all posts and click the Save Changes button.
- Default Template – a page template by default with sidebar settings which are mentioned in the theme options;
- 2 Column Photos With Sidebar – 2 column photo gallery page template with left sidebar/right sidebar/without sidebar;
- 2 Column Videos With Sidebar – 2 column video gallery page template with left sidebar/right sidebar/without sidebar;
- 3 Column Photos – 3 column photo gallery page template without sidebar;
- 3 Column Videos – 3 column video gallery page template without sidebar;
- 4 Column Photos – 4 column photo gallery page template without sidebar;
- 4 Column Photos With Sidebar – 4 column photo gallery page template with left sidebar/right sidebar/without sidebar;
- 4 Column Videos – 4 column video gallery page template without sidebar;
- 4 Column Videos With Sidebar – 4 column video gallery page template with left sidebar/right sidebar/without sidebar;
- 6 Column Photos – 6 column photo gallery page template without sidebar;
- 6 Column Videos – 6 column video gallery page template without sidebar;
- Archives – archive page template;
- Blog With Left Sidebar – a blog page template with left sidebar;
- Blog With Right Sidebar – a blog page template with right sidebar;
- Fullwidth Blog – a blog page template without sidebar;
- Contact Page – a contact page template;
- Front Page Template – a main page template;
- Fullwidth Page – a page template without sidebar;
- Page with Left Sidebar – a page template with left sidebar;
- Page with Right Sidebar – a page template with right sidebar;
- Photos – a photo gallery with the number of columns and sidebar position specified in the theme settings;
- Videos – a video gallery with the number of columns and sidebar position specified in the theme settings;
When you create a news post, you can choose one of the following formats:
Slides
A post type for displaying slides on the home page. This post type has following fields:
- Title – a slide title;
- Excerpt – a short description;
- Link URL – a link to the full article;
- Featured Image actually slide.
Example of the main slider:
Trailers
A post type for displaying video gallery. This post type has following fields:
- Title – a post title;
- Editor – main text;
- Box Office – this field is necessary for output box office rating;
- 1st video URL – 15th video URL – fields for the Youtube and Vimeo video embedding. Maximum amount of videos per post is 15. If you need less, then 15 videos just leave the rest of the fields empty;
- Discussions – enable or disable the comment post;
- Comments – comments management in the current post;
- Categories – select categories for the current post;
- Tags – enter tags for the current post;
- Featured Image – an image which is displayed in the news and video gallery.

Reviews
A post type for reviews publishing. This post has following fields:
- Title – a post title;
- Editor – main text;
- Discussions – enable or disable the comment post;
- Comments – comments management in the current post;
- Author – a name of the post author;
- Categories – select categories for the current post;
- Tags – enter tags for the current post;
- Featured Image.

Photos
A Post type for photo gallery publishing. This post has following fields:
- Title – a post title;
- Uploaded photos – images which were uploaded with the help of the Featured Image option;
- Discussions – enable or disable the comment post;
- Comments – comments management in the current post;
- Categories – select categories for the current post;
- Labels – select labels (tags) for the current post;
- Featured Image – an image which represents the current post;

A shortcodes button is placed on the editor panel and includes the following elements:

Columns – a group of shortcodes which is responsible for a page layout. It includes the following shortcodes:

Row – a block in which the columns are placed. Also, you can insert this shortcode by using the code below:

Clearfix – a block for cleaning floating elements. Also, you can insert this shortcode by using the code below:

Grids – columns based on 960px grid. After you select this shortcode, the following window is opened:
- Shortcode Name – grid_1 has width of 60px, grid_12 – 940px
- Custom class – this is a custom class but also can be secondary grid classes (alpha, omega, prefix_1, suffix_1, etc.) or your own class. If you need you can use several classes separated by a gap.
- Content – main content;
Click the Insert button to insert the shortcode. Also, you can insert this shortcode by using the code below:

Fluid Columns – columns the width of which is defined by outside block. After you select this shortcode, the following window is opened:
- Shortcode Name – 1/2 - half of the outside block, 1/3 – one third of the outside block, etc.;
- Custom class – a user’s class. The last column must have the last class. If you need you can use several classes separated by a gap;
- Content – main content;
Click the Insert button to insert the shorcode. Also, you can insert this shortcode by using the code below:

Go to MS Options -> Export in the admin panel and follow the instructions.
STEP 1. At this step you can export the widget settings. Mark the widgets of which settings you would like to export and click the next button.
Then, save the export file on your computer.
STEP 2. At this step you can export the content. For this, please select which content you would like to export and click the Download export file butoon.
Save the exportable file on your computer.
